Please go to the PTSC website and carefully read all the PR's.

There are slight changes in how the total licenses are PR'rd but the KEY is this:

Since January 2006 over 30 global companies from the US, Europe, Japan, Korea and Taiwan have purchased MMP Portfolio licenses.

Remember: AMD and INTEL were Licensed in 2005 so they do NOT count in the OVER 30 licenses in 2006.

Now let's add them up:

1.HP
2.Fujitsu
3.Sony
4.Nikon
5.Seiko/Epson
6.Pentax
7.Olympus
8.Kenwood
9.Aglient
10.Lexmark
11.Schneider Electric
12.NEC Corporation
13.Funai
14.SanDisk
15.Sharp
16.Nokia
17.Bull
18.Lego
19.DMP
20.Denso Wave
21.American Power Conversion
22.Phillips
23.Teac
24.Daewoo
25.WMS Gaming
26.Lite-On
27.Alpine
28.Verigy

And The following was stated with the Verigy license deal which came AFTER the announcement that the J3 were "granted rights to use the 7 patents in the MMP" and that everyone was Pleased with the Business Resolution yadda yadda yadda:

Since January 2006 over 30 global companies from the US, Europe, Japan, Korea and Taiwan have purchased MMP Portfolio licenses

Now how do we get from 28 licenses since 2006!!!!! to OVER 30 Licenses since Jan. 2006????

People WAKE the F..K p!

The J3 SIGNED a LICENSE DEAL WITH PTSC........That's how.

PTSC's website says Alpine is the 29th Deal "OVERALL"..........not since 2006. Get it???

So if we take out INTEL and AMD which were signed in 2005 out of the equation, that makes Alpine the 27th deal signed since Jan. of 2006 and Verigy is the 28th License since Jan. of 2006 making the J3 License Signing responsible for TPL/PTSC stating this:

Since January 2006 over 30 global companies from the US, Europe, Japan, Korea and Taiwan have purchased MMP Portfolio licenses.

Sheesh. I think this is a case of "can't see the Forrest for the trees."

WE settled and in my mind that is a WIN and I don't give a rats AZZ what any of you want to call it or not call it. They signed a License and that's a WIN for us.

Stop going over and over the words "Granted" and "Business Resolution" to Ad Nauseum.

(Ad nauseam is a Latin term used to describe something that has been continuing "to the point of nausea.")

THEY SIGNED! Now we wait until April to see how much we are getting.

I HOPE it's a lot...........but like the rest of us..........I have no idea.

That's because of the NDA, but TPL/PTSC TOLD us in the PR that the J3 have signed a license deal.

Now STOP the constant questioning on this. PLEASE.

And while I'm on a roll here..............stop questioning the re exam too.

The engineers that have weighed in over the months and the expert testimony that has been given by Alvin Despain (read it for goodness sake) as well as all the friggen lawyers for the defense and their experts have all come to the SAME conclusion:

The patents are NOT Obvious but rather: Genius Patents that have changed the way EVERYTHING DIGITAL OPERATING OVER 110 Megahertz works today! And folks that's just about EVERYTHING in the World today.

So again, please relax and don't even look at the board or the SP until April 10th if you are freaking out.
