The Worst thing about Brian's resignation

IMO, the worst thing about Brian's resignation (assuming it happened) is the way it was handled.
I keep harping about how it would send a loud, clear message to management - that they have not been forthcoming in giving shareholders the recognition and consideration we're rightly due.
I have to ask, the way his resignation was handled (as far as we KNOW), was THE MESSAGE sent?
IMO, even this, THE opportunity IMO to get management's attention, IMO was horribly bungled.
However, IMO, the opportunity still exists for Brian to turn this around. Make a declaration. "I resigned because I, the company-designated Shareholder's Representative, was consistently ignored - my advice, on the behalf of all retail shareholders who were depending on me as their Representative, was not adequately considered in the company's decision-making process."
It might could still work. And Brian could potentially redeem himself in the eyes of many who are currently dismayed.
On another front, if ANY poster stated that they don't KNOW absolutely, but "my conjecture is absolutely correct and everyone else is flat wrong", would this board let that slide? I think not. But this is exactly what is expected by some.
JMHOs,
