While I do agree with you both that this topic should, by now, be well driven into the ground, I don't agree on your major point.

Yes, any voluntary work is just that, voluntary and therefore freely given, but when a person accepts a position, they also accept the responsibility that goes with it. Communication on all sides is essential, even if it is just to say that concerns and questions have been noted.

However, as usual with most things on this board, I do believe that we have taken this whole issue to the extreme. Brian was ... and is .... a respected member of this board, It is very unfortunate that we have taken this issue out of the realm of 'business' and made it very personal.

This was not my intention. if I have conributed in any way to this becoming personal, I am truly sorry.
