Message: What's the big fuss about preferred?? Management can go around

It seems to me this and the shareholder activism, initiatives and this latest effort have so far resulted in ZERO positive influence for retail.

Other than becoming a persistent thorn in the side of management, what has been accomplished along these lines?

I can't blame management for trying to stay out of requirement to "ask retail" about preferreds. I come from a family entrepreneurial background where having any kind of constraints on doing business are frowned upon and avoided at all costs, starting with keeping taxes low, the government out of the business when at all possible and keeping control centralized to as great an extent as is practical. Where have you guys been? This is all status quo for business nowadays.

On the other hand-I cant' knock Brian or others for trying privately to make their points but to bring it all here perpetuating the position publicly that we are all victims here while the truth remains that we can all simply hit the sell button and move on runs counter to good common sense. It will surely raise the disgruntlement hackles and people will bail driving the price further down from where it now languishes. Is this what was intended?

You guys just won't learn from repeated mistakes and what amounts to almost continuous bashing of management.

This is all just tilting at windmills in my honest opinion.
