I also agree with your approach and for another reason...if there was anything more coming or reserve accounts with partial payments in them or anything that would be even possibly impacted at a later date...then those BOD and Management people who bought shares last week without making that info public knowledge would be in a heck of a lot of hot water...and since I believe that they are not even remotely close to exposing themselves to insider purchases with information not made public...then I, like you, have to believe what the company has professed and those closer to the situation, like those in court have said, and what the case file simply tells us...dismissed and done with....
