I don't claim to be "the sharpest knife in the drawer: here ether but IMO signings/licenses that occur out of the eyes and ears of a court settlement will not move this stock much northward in the future either. Remember the vast, vast majority of even those patent cases that are filed in court are settled out of court and usually have an NDA attached too.
By the time any license is announced and comparing that to time it hits our eyes/ears ...3/4 months from now ...it is all OLD NEWS...plus every signing will be without disclosure of amounts paid and almost impossible to discern the amount when the Q is read...since they are all reported in total.
Add into all of that that these payments are one time, over and done with revenues for us and expenditures for them Most if not all analysts exclude them from any meaningful EPS and PE projections.,..and that is what moves the stocks today along with Q's that show repetitive earnings on an increasing basis.
The success of our M&A program is what will bring us the repetition we need to the bottomline and will allow more analytical exposure to the stock and could get us some rec's in the future. All of which will lead to a hopefully higher PPS to facilitate our "escape" from the BB.
