While I don't disagree with you, and I certainly would prefer if PTSC behaved FORTHRIGHTLY in ALL of its actions, frankly, while I think the GSA award MAY lead to some great things down the road, in and of itself, I don't think the award or the goings on associated with the PR is that big of a deal Thus, the company's delay in announcing it is much less a worry to me than, for instance, their willingness to continue to allow two TPL representatives vs. one PTSC representative on the PDS management committee, among other much more objectionable issues.
I liken the GSA award to qualifying to become a contestant on American Idol. Certainly it doesn't guarantee you any success, or even acclaim/publicity, that is unless you have a modicum of talent (ie. product) that allows you to get air time or to advance to the later rounds where the publicity even if you get kicked off, can lead to success. And I've never even watched more than 2 minutes total of the show. EVER! REALLY! That I know that much about the dynamics of American Idol simply by the collateral societal discussion of it, in a way speaks to the perception that similarly the GSA award has some cache, but in reality means nothing unless Crosslo parlays it into real money/contracts.
Don't get me wrong, I certainly understand your point and disgruntlement that if PTSC communicated the award in some non-public way to select shareholders or potential shareholders back when it happened or before or after, and then a month later "announced" it in a PR, it stinks. And I certainly appreciate your watchful eye on it and your other efforts, but at worst, I think it simply betrays the disregard they already have shown time and again for retail. In essence, it beats an already dead horse! That we're sitting at 12 cents, and dissecting a move from 9 cents to 16 cents, strikes me as so ironically emblematic of the disdain they've displayed for retail, that it's almost laughable that we are even discussing the machinations associated with this PR.
Even if less than the truth, I'm inclined to accept, or perhaps hope, that the company was and has been more focussed on executing on the steps it takes to actually GET work from the GSA deal (not just "complete the steps" as Ms. Hartley implied), than to manipulating the circumstances for the benefit of a few shareholders. Had there been 20M shares traded in the days in question and a price move of 50 cents, I might feel differently, but frankly, I'm hoping that their lack of urgency in PR'ing the award is indicative of my downplayed interpretation of the meaning of that award, and that they are simply working hard to take advantage of the possibilities it opens so that we can see some REAL news come from it.
And to Huntington-L...I simply say, move to the light....the Black-N-Gold light! It's not too late, there will be at least a couple more Lombardi's before that Sanchez/Ryan combination get thier bearings.
