This will be the last time I say anything about Rick Goerner, however, it is....

certainly difficult to believe that he wasn't qualified or capable. The man was tasked with bringing PTSC from the ashes and turning it into a "profitable" operational company. All that and oh yeah, by the way, with an extremely limited access to cash. Baroni better offer huge upside potentials with immediate results, otherwise, this was a witch hunt IMO. Can anyone point out any time in PTSC's history that an officer was more qualified than the one below? Note the underlined portion. Anyone that's ever created anything knows it doesn't happen overnight. I'm still laughing at the notion that 19 months on the job was long enough. If colleges fired football coaches every 19 months there would never be a national championship program built. We better here a solid explanation with net positive results, guaranteed, by whomever is chosen by the BOD. IMO we now have the right to demand no less.
"Prior to TransDimension, Goerner was president and chief operating officer of the Texas Instruments/Silicon Systems Storage Products Group, a business unit with more than $1 billion in revenue. Before its acquisition by Texas Instruments, Goerner held business unit, marketing and sales positions at Silicon Systems/TDK Group Co., culminating in his role as chief operating officer, office of the president. During his 17-year tenure, Silicon Systems experienced revenue growth from $15 million to $500 million.
Goerner also held senior sales and marketing positions with Silicon Systems Inc., Signetics Corp., a Philips Group Co. and Teledyne Semiconductor. He also serves as a member of the board of directors and advisory boards of several high tech companies in the Orange County area. Goerner received his bachelor's of science in electrical engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo"
