"Is it falling from Moore's dispute with TPL? Though I understand how this dispute could "grow" into something far more significant, my understanding is that the dispute is about Moore's contention that TPL owes him money. That's it. Not who owns what re: the MMP. "
Before Moore took his "Moore vs TPL" segment to his blog down he had stated that in a judgement written by a judge the rights to the patents had erroneously been assigned to TPL and he was informed that he had apparently ignored it too long . He also mentioned that his lawyer never signed the document and that the USPTO has no transfere of ownership. So the money issue may well be intangled in ownership issues as well. It would seem that the only clear issue is that we own 50%. The other 50% is somewhat clouded with issues.
Also, at some point the PR's from both TPL, and PTSC mentioned them as owners of the patents with no mention of Moore.
So there is in fact a lot going on.
Perhaps the reason everything seems to be on hold.
AJMO as I remember it perhaps someone has a copy of the Moore Vs TPL statements before they were taken down. We all need to know what we are up against.
