I just can't agree with any resolution involving TPL. They will never operate in the best interest of the group. Everything is approached from a perspective of figuring out how best to benefit themselves. Our mgmt team deserves to be shot into the Pacific ocean if they realign with these snakes. While the lack of alternatives may seem daunting, crawling back into bed with the enemy makes even less sense. If the ComAg has been violated, PTSC should pursue it and attempt to have the contract nullified.

I worked with someone who applied less then admirable ethics to their daily profession. IMO, those types of individuals tend to have a flawed personality. It involves traits that are interwoven into their character and easily bleeds over into their personal and professional lives. I spent the last 11 years hoping that my ethical standards would serve me well, even though it was tough sledding. Well, 5 weeks ago they announced I would be assuming the GM position for our division. That person now works for me. My situation is a little easier to manage. I know exactly what that employee is doing at all times. PTSC, on the other hand, would need to place an employee directly in TPL's wheel house. Not to mention, they would need to be present for every negotation going forward. I don't see how any modified contract would be worth the paper it is written on. Why, just so you can take them to court again? IMO, that is exactly where it will wind up. PTSC needs to cut their losses while they can. The genie is out of the bottle and they certainly can't put her back in and pretend it never happened. My goodness, apparently TPL decided to put PTSC's entire future on the line the moment the "alleged" improprieties took place. What contract modification could possibly make PTSC feel better knowing they were potentially robbed in broad daylight by their own partner?
