I'm not sure where you're coming from on this. PTSC has for years, in its PR's and other communications, referred to it's relationship with TPL as a "licensing partnership". Those are PTSC's official words, not the interpretation of Agoracom posters.

A JV is typically exactly that, a partnership. A venture of 2 or more companies partnering together to accomplish something. Per the "end of litigation" PR, PTSC reinforced with its PR language, that this "licensing partnership" remains in fact intact. That they removed the logos from the website, IMO, means nothing except that they're tired of being hassled that their website is inaccurate and out of date.

Rather than commit to maintaining it as the "first line of communication with shareholders" as they've advertised it to be, and doing the actual daily, weekly, monthly, etc. maintenance required for it to actually be that, they seem to have gone to the extreme of removing as much info as would actually need maintenance so that they can't be criticized any longer for not maintaining it. Hopefully, it's the first step to improving the accuracy and pertinence of their communications. Maybe even the frequency, now that there is less to manage. We'll see.
