I believe what Ease is saying is that if one has read the last 6 yrs worth of Quarterlies... and as you have stated 'every word'.. that one should come to the realization that the fees have not appreciated much, if at all... HP signed for $26M... Fuji $31M (2006)... and Apple (2010), whose fee most here believe is peanuts.. I know signed for $5.2M (no link.. but it is the amount)... Now, Apple has sold 300M ipods, 180M iPhones.. MAC computers, etc... in other words a lot of infringing units... yet their MMP fee is 20% or less than HP or Fuji... Now granted HP & Fuji have an extrememly large and varied product line.. More recently Motorola, GE & Tyco contributing to the potential $42M take this Q... It does not appear to me that fees ($/infinging unit) are going up... Now, hopefully, with the favorable Markman ruling we are anticipating in hand, those fees will go up... We don't need to backrupt anybody, but come on DL... Apple is making billions per Quarter... BILLIONS...

Apple could have afforded more than $5.2M for the patents that basically make their entire company possible...
I know.. Markman first... but then let's see what your plan is DL... biz as usual or realistic value for these assests
