This make no sense to me....Yet they are buying short shares. Thats like adding to the float...
Shorting stocks is not like adding to the float!!!!!
You may be mixing up naked shorting with what your reported… shares short….
Naked shorts will show on a FTD list (Failure To Deliver)… that occurs with market makes…. That is selling shares that their no share to cover……
also If you buying short shares it is buy.. if you shorting it is a selll
