reading your post you have never shorted a stock... have you????and you have never shorted and own stock at the same time???

Another scenario would be, a group of shorts with long positiions, who sell at the highs shorting, then dump their long shares, driving down prices and then buying back in their shorts. what you posted here is not possible!!!!!! you must not cross the box.... look it up ,,, then comment ,,,,,,

when you short thier must be shares to short!!!!! check link below... if you short a stock u are subject to having to cover ur postion on demand if some needs thier shares for a transaction....
