And in a PLL architecture there is a readily predictable phase relationship because the voltage supplied to the voltage controlled ring oscillator is "determined" by the external crystal clock via the phase detector and filter/voltage pump. Now does that mean the voltage controlled ring oscillator relies on the external crystal clock? I don't know but PTSC issued an 8k based on the "entire" term and the asynchronous issue seems to compliment the "entire" construction. The trading over the past several days has been very strange IMO.
