I was just rereading Misfits post. I guess the grizz reposted. I was reading over the following pargraph:
What is interesting is that the James Bay property news was totally unexpected by everyone, including I'm sure the NOT people. The property was optioned in the Spring. They announced a drill program and that started near the end of August. A HALT was issued just three days after drilling had begun. We were given enough information that those who know about NOT could accumulate more until the true assays results were known. At this point we know that they have visible copper up to widths of 50M.
As I recall this is the property that was optioned to another play that didn't have much going for it. I don't recall the name right now. The companies wanted it back because they had done or had access to flyovers and found these anomolies adjacent. The other company backed out so NOT took over. They were all extremely anxious to get this back from what I understand. The fly over told them they had something in the area. So they get the claims along side , drill a hole and bingo. They were bang on. So I don't think it was entirely unexpected.
I recall going into the Freeewest office here in town and they were all huddled over the maps. I posted this before. I thought they were line cutters getting instruction but as it turns out there were a few geos from NOT preping this play..don
