OT-great book for longer term investors

Some of the problem we're having on this board is the clash of the swing traders vs. the investor types. They are both valid, profitable ways to make money in the market.

The conflict enters in when one group thinks their method is superior, and is going to tell you all about why your way is wrong and slow and stupid.

There are a lot of resources out there for folks who want to learn to trade, but not so many for the uncovering the clues to know when to enter and exit a long term hold.

An older book that's quite good for the longer term investor and does teach some basic terminology and chart patterns is written by Sam Weinstein, and it's called "Secrets for profiting in bull and bear markets".

This might help to sort out some of the differences between traders and investors. Oh, and btw, he does cover some shorter-term exits and entries.

Just doing my part for the newbies
