You can earn activity points by filling your profile with information about yourself (what city you live in, your favorite team, blogs etc.)
How is that an interesting assessment? It is quite clear what he is trying to do bringing up things like bre-x. Why would anyone take that much time out of their day to write something like that. It is clear to me what his intentions are. It just doesn't make sense otherwise.
