The way it was explained to me by "One of the stakers" was, That all the land around the Mcfaulds Lake are had been staked and mag flown between 2000and 2003, for diamond annolmies because of the discovery of Victor Lake Kimberlites.By DeBeers. The mag was flown on 200 meter spacing, and some targets showed up. RN and crew saw a diffrent mag signature and drilled it , the rest is history, and IMHO NOT and one or two of the others will make more history in 2008. That is why the new Mag is being flown on 50 meter spacings, as well the Mag has improve in the last 4-5 years.

SO the 2003 mag must have shown that the center of "The Ring of Fire" had no targets or NOT would have staked the land. Maybe they will stake it in the future who knows. RN is a sharp guy, and had the first chance at staking after NOT hit the first Glory Hole, so if the center was imporant NOT would have it.
