When you buy/sell odd lots it is always in your disadvantage, you pay too much when buying and get screwed selling. Mutual Funds use odd lots often (if you invest in $500 MF you end up with let's say 202 1/4 shares) when redeeming you notice your price was at the lowest of the day. BTW you learn this the day after. I would not deal with odd lots but it's your money. vila
