I disagree.  When he is speaking to the long time poster, he is preaching to the believers/cheerleaders, therefore his announcement should be prepped for those indecisive or looking for the feel/momentum in this company.  I would expect a press release of any kind to embody the best foot forward one can muster.  This was just a bit lackluster if it was designed to achieve any kind of momentum.  It is true that the basic message was optimistic, it was just a little low key for my taste.  Agoracom is supposed to be about putting our best foot forward.  They need to do a bit more prep work.  I suspect this was a quicky.
