These are nice stories and would make great dreams.... and maybe they will, but they are based on supposition after supposition. I think these are nice warm and fuzzy thoughts but they really border on pumping though I don't think of H. as being a pumper. There are some very practical and wise methods of trading... people should make sure they are considering them in addition to the fear of being left out. I've heard many say that they sold too soon and the price got away. It's true, it happens, and if you are a long you have nothing to worry about because NOT is likely to do very well. Conversely, if you like to play a little, it is more probable than not that you will have the opportunity. It is my opinion that times are a little different today compared to the V.B. days and that the S.P. will move a little more carefully, not that it is incapable of some large bursts. I just foresee more retracements. You can look at V.B. and try to draw comparisons, but V.B. didn't have the subprime and the quirky market that we've been dealing with. One would be safer in relating to today's market movements and what we've seen happen to NOT et al over the last months.

Herb, your story could come true. I hope it does.
