NI 43-101 Update (September 2012): 11.1 Mt @ 1.68% Ni, 0.87% Cu, 0.89 gpt Pt and 3.09 gpt Pd and 0.18 gpt Au (Proven & Probable Reserves) / 8.9 Mt @ 1.10% Ni, 1.14% Cu, 1.16 gpt Pt and 3.49 gpt Pd and 0.30 gpt Au (Inferred Resource)
When I compare as did John Defur, our location to Sudbury's, there was much similarities. However, it seems according to Richard Nemis that the size of our ring is two to three times bigger than Sudbury's. Sudbury has already mined over 1500 million tonnes of ore. I am suggesting that out of the over one thousand anomalies, with similar signature to DE1 that we will return 1% of them with results similar to DE1. There was a very good description by both John Defur and the prof at Uoft (prof Mungar I believe) an expert in the world of these types of deposits that stated that to accumulate this high grade nickel (almost 8% in some area) one needs systems that are kilometers in length. Now, the current 5 to 7 million tonnes that we assume eagle 1 contains is under 300 meters in length. Neil Novak, the geologist at Noront took the time to explain to me that a ghost image was visible between DE1 and A2 and A3. His theory was that this ghost image was a deep bridge between all these anomalies. If this is the case, then we would be looking at a deposit of 2.4 km in length with grades probably similar to DE1. So when one has done proper due diligence, one can be comfortable with his investment. Getting to 50Mt remains to be seen but when I look at all the material out there by highly regarded professionals in the field, I can join Crazydik and have sweet dreams.
