Don, loved reading the rant with respect to roads. All too true from my experience. Soft bashing or practical business practice - either can account for the continued recursive behavoiur of many. Stems from ideological dogma and all that blinkered business kind of stuff as well as Pseudo Academic Fraiser Insdtitute nonsense. It is not bad to revisit some common issues. Government has to do it on an almost continueous basis. Too bagdBig Business can't learn or refuses to learn from Government.
IOf (and I feel confident) Noront and a few of the others come up good or even big on another Anomaly in the next few months then it would be well worth while for all the area players to get together and sign a pact commiting to contract to Goods and Services providers willing to setablish permanent bases in the immediate "Ring of Fire" area. This would cut down greatly on costs to all, both Exploresr and Technical Support Services. The Goods and Services Camp Group could rent out the constructed facilities to the likes of an Assay Lab, Transport Operator(s), Geo-Technical Provider(s), Drilling Contractor(s), Caterers, and so on. Something like what happened (and very quickly and effectively) during the Klondike Gold Rush but with advanced planing and cooperative coordination built in from the Get Go. Difference being is that the JBL Rush will last for 100 years plus. Those planing to continue through next year will have to setablish most of the facilities this coming summer anyway and Noront will have to expant their already existing facilities. Who can do all this for there Explorers and allow them to focus on the Exploration???
Wonder why I think of such things?
EFFICIENCY!!! COST REDUCTION, ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY CONTROL, BEST RETURN ON INVESTMENT DOLLARS. REDUCED EGOTISTICAL MANIPULATION, etc.
