I use Scottrade. Being that the trades are done on tsx.v I pay $27 per trade. If it were on a us exchange it would be $7. I think they have to go thru another broker to make the trade on a Canadian exchange. Any do it yourself type broker house is going to be cheaper than paying a percentage to some guy pushing the same buttons on the computer that you could do. The fee's to me are like taxes and I don't mind paying some but not too much.
