Obviously to purchase a producing or near producing mine that was constructed over the last 5 to 10 years is a huge savings in infrastructure and equipment costs compared to today's prices.Today's prices for fuel, power and labour must be paid but this is somewhat softened by the price that today's metals will bring.They will always need fresh deposits to repace diminishing production and this is where the projections of demand becomes an important factor.They estimate 10 years to take a mine from discovery to production,it's going to get alot more expensive.Let's hope demand remains strong for at least the next 20 years?
