Don, here is what I am thinking RN might do that could require a lot of lawyers of various kinds, but would be substantially synergistic to everyone who is not of the Lotto mentality:

1) Take the 6-8 largest/key contiguous claim holders (who have not drilled enough to prove up any established value)

2) negotiate a relative fair exchange value for NOT shares in a stat, amalgamation/arrangement etc. (tax free in Cda)

3)Secure a merger agreement based on negotiated exchange value.

This would be a win/win/win for us and allĀ  others. Why?

-consolidate drilling plans , costs , execution

-shorten the E&D time dramatically

-eliminate legals and land border and infighting issues that will loom up and pose cost and delay

-cash used to pursue the best drilling targets strategically without reference to whose property you are getting close to

-a hundred smaller cost savings, but particularly risk synergies

Could the main players agree ? They all have a big incentive and would avoid getting picked apart by the majors.
