Been There, Confidentiality agreements are generally useful but only work well for the professional staff. For the rest of the gang it’s best to set an example if the opportunity exists. I suspect information is circulating on a need to know basis these days. Confidentiality agreements stop open communication but do little to silence those that choose to whisper quietly to those they trust. Please try to understand that I’m not trying to discount the point you are making. I would love to see the ones talking given proper treatment in a court of law. Unfortunately, my experience with large corporations has shown me the true power behind confidentiality agreements. You need evidence before you can take action against and individual or an organization. The lack of evidence can result in a lawsuit and huge legal fees. rosehill
