The Noranda-Rouyn VMS camp which has produced >100Mt of Cu/Zn/Au ore from some 13 deposits, occupies an area of approximately 380 sq km with an overall "strike length" of approximately 22 km. The ROF "strike length" is in excess of say 200 km.

To provide interested posters with a better sense of what might be found within the ROF, from a VMS perspective, I would recommend that you visit the site of Alexis Minerals Corp and review their slide show "New Approach to Base Metal Alteration-Parts I and II". Pay particular attention to their Xsections.

I own no shares of Alexis and I am not pumping Alexis. This post is merely for information/educational purposes only.

Have a great weekend!
