this is not true for everyone.

It's not always about the money.

It is not the only motivator.

Ask the hockey player who in his senior years leaves a team with no chance of winning a stanley cup to go to a team that has a good chance of winning a stanely cup in order to have a potential for the "glory". Why not just stay with the team and retire? Is the money not enough? Not for some.

I've left a job to go somewhere else for less money. I'm not crazy.

My happiness, selfworth, rejuvenation of passion, renewed excitement was worth more than the paycheck.
