Mining Analysts

How many of you use an account executive at a major brokerage firm for trading? If you reply positive, how about asking your account executive whether his/her firm's mining analyst is following NOT. If not, why not?

Just a suggestion, as I have just finished Ray Goldie's book "Inco Comes to Labrador". Believe it or not, well respected mining analysts like Ray can have a very influential effect on the market's perception of a company. However, one caveat-investment banking brokers tend to focus on companies which they believe will provide potential income from financing deals which they may be participants in the future.
