Count me as one of the investors puzzeled as to why Noront is giving away jv's on claims to very junior exploration companies? OK they're getting some cash or shares but nothing to get excited about.

Not isn't buying the ROF but giving up i50% nterest in claims which potentially could be of higher value to a Major. Doesn't make much sense unless the actual claim value is minimal (the market sure isn't placing any value on land holdings). Perhaps it just that these lands are so speculative that only a junior will spend a few bucks to try and find something. Noront recovers their cost of staking and keeps50% while junior spends some money. If junior fails to keep their end of the bargain Noront recovers 100% of claim.

All the aerial and ground geophysical workup is nothing beside actual drill results. It's why Noront is the best and lowest risk investment in the 'ROF' as only they have what appears to be economic mineralization AND continues to drill like mad to prove up more.
