Misfit - Once more into the breach old friend!

Misfit,

I view matters such as websites and PR in the speculative juniors market as window dressing. I am far more interested in what is happening behind the window, in the offices and on the field. Sites such as this one (with considerable respect to Agoracom which stands alone for it's excellence) are helpful in bringing investors together to share insights and knowledge bases and to primarily offer comfort and information in a centralized forum for those who need group support.

That being said, as much as I enjoy reading posts and occasionally adding a few comments, what shareholders think a company should do, or what direction it should take, or what it should say and when, remains, as always, irrelevant.

The shareholders thankfully do not set policy or procedure. They do not decide which properties to acquire, who to hire, where to drill, or anything else. Minority shareholders (like me) are along for the ride. Nothing more, nothing less.

The exception occurs when the company is up to no good, and the minority shareholders band together to voice their objection. Even then, more often than not, the majority shareholders call the tunes. With a rare bird like Noront, quiet (or even vociferous) gratitude is more appropriate.

With respect, just because your avatar is Warren Buffett, doesn't mean you're Warren Buffett! My avatar is of my shack in the woods...perhaps more fitting for someone who identifies himself as crazydik!

But back to my point. By all means keep a close watch on your portfolio. Go ahead and keep close tabs on RN and his team as well. But don't forget for one second that these guys have done and continue to do a spectacular job where it counts...finding appropriate drill targets and consistently coming up with the goods. Never mind their prowess in the land grab department and jv's. Sorry, but I just don't see them sitting on their hands!

We didn't have enough coverage for the find at Windfall? Really? Are you sure about that? I think we had and continue to have great coverage. And more importantly, name another junior exploration company who took the step to go to bulk sampling and managed to precisely time a PP and overcome the permitting issues as quickly as Noront or at all! You want to see news? Wait another month or so for them to hit the main vein. Then see how the market reacts.

In terms of Burnt Hill, China, Mexico etc, they aren't going anywhere. It seems to make a lot more sense putting them far on the backburner until we see where Windfall and McFaulds takes us. That is striking where the iron is hot. Makes a lot of sense.

I for one do not need "regular status updates". The News Releases have been full of information that I can chew on for months and still not fully digest. How much more would you like on your plate to keep things interesting?

Finally, if Richard wants to answer the phone once in a while and speak to shareholders, more power to him. It is clearly because he thinks that to do so is important, and he believes he has the time to do so. With respect, who are you to second guess this man? Where has he let you down? Help me to understand and I will consider being the critical questioning guy.

Misfit, I know that your posts are valued on this forum. You clearly put in an effort for the benefit of the board. I do not mean to seem hyper-critical. It just that sometimes, as shareholders, we need to be reminded to get over ourselves and let the experts do what they do best.

Which is making us rich.

Nice thought that....
