NI 43-101 Update (September 2012): 11.1 Mt @ 1.68% Ni, 0.87% Cu, 0.89 gpt Pt and 3.09 gpt Pd and 0.18 gpt Au (Proven & Probable Reserves) / 8.9 Mt @ 1.10% Ni, 1.14% Cu, 1.16 gpt Pt and 3.49 gpt Pd and 0.30 gpt Au (Inferred Resource)
The difference is that many who post here either have some idea of the Value of Cr or are learning something on the matter from many of the very good posters here.
As for Retail Investors, there are at least three categories if not several more. Day Traders mostly fit into one general group. Investors with the time to research their Investment choices and keep a relatively close eye on theri Investments may constitute a second general group. A third general group would include many of the READERS of this Forum who are learning and or have limited time to research and follow their Investments.
However, there is another general group of Retail Investor out there. And most of them have little or no time to Research, follow Investments Daily, or learn much about what, when, or how to do any of the above. These are the TRUE 'Coat Tail' Riders and Work-A-Day folk. And at present most of them are either oblivious to the goings on in the World Markets and or with respect to Best of Breed prospective Up And Comers like Noront Resources.
Reading a news release for them is a bit of a novilty but many will do so when they get interested (when they begin to hear the Chat on the Street, so to speak) and will not have much of a clue if any clue at all as to what they are reading. They will however follow the crowd and jump in on a Stock when the Crowd is doing likewise. It is part of the Work-A-Day grapevine thing.
To get their attention and keep it for a while, making News Releases so called "More Reader Friendly" will help many of them seel they have a clue! Some may well catch on quickly (as there is a segment of every population that have that characteristic) and most others contenplating the Investment will then follow along.
With the current situation, Globally, there is increasing talk in Break Rooms and around Work-A-Day water fountains. There is also more of these folk calling their Account Advisors looking for help and or telling the Advisor some interesting stories from their work places and social contacts/networks, etc..
Thus, the revamping of the Noront Web Site (second upgrade in less than half a year) following the addition of all the new TOP EXEC's and Professional Staff, etc..
What's next?
JP Morgan is likely in real tight discussion with several interested parties, and helping to both keep them interested and up to date, as well as helping hold them off from making any premature moves on Noront Resources, etc..
Noront Management are likely all up to full speed on a multitude of tasks, tactics, and strategies, etc., and have by now hashed out several contingencies in terms of game plans. Those Game Plans have to do with things such as Maintaining Control of the Company under several synarios, Maintaining Front Runner Position within the Ring of Fire (which by the way is likely to be the name of the new Spin Out Company to be listed on the TSX Main Exchange - and real soon, like before the AGM), Maintaining the level of Geological Excellence to keep well ahead of both other Area Players and the professional expertise of the interested Major International Mining Companies, both in terms of Geology and it's associated value in the Ring of Fire, and in terms of Accounting/Finance/Legalities, etc., and creating and maintaining the knowledge base to deal with the eventually expected offers and bids for an interest in the Company and or its Ring of Fire properties, etc.. And so on...
Thus, the Market Conditions are important in timing but Noront will do well regardless of the eventual outcome of current Market Activity (gyrations of every sort) so long as they maintain control and have their Homework done and put to good use. Soon may be getting close, but soon remains just that till it happens, SOON
Old Joe
PS: Soon is NOT soon enough, but such is as it is!
