It is good to see the US doing something to help this shorting situation. The shorters have had a great hand in the present financial situation.

In Canada we seem to have no regulations and the shorting goes on. I wouldn't be suprised if the regulators are somehow tied into the profits of the financial institutions that are manipulating the stocks. Hopefully one day the politicians will force some measure of regulations on these people. A lot of good companies and investors have suffered greatly from the antics of these manipulators.
