Agreed, and remember Chromium is considered a 'strategic' material so having reliable North American supply would be appreciated by our Southern Neighbours.
The world certainly isn't 'full of chrome' or the price would not be anywhere near what it is. Simple fact that the more rare the more expensive so that statement doesn't hold water.
Tough for Noront to carry full responsibility for explaining chromite potential and value. While we might hate having a 'Major' come in at this early stage to take a piece of the action this could actually greatly enhance the piece of pie we get to keep. It doesn't seem Chromite will be accepted as valuable until bidders line up.
