The Noront AGM package that is..

Went through the whole thing. Letter from Richard was a nice touch. Too easy to forget the wonderful things that have happened in the past 12 months given the share price today. It was nice to be reminded.

Like the presentation, no mention of Windfall in the letter. Very odd but I guess we will learn more at the meeting.

After reviewing the entire package there were not too many surprises. Although the pictures on the folder that the materials came in were a nice touch. A picture of about twenty people at the ribbon cutting of the ramp. Looks very similar to the ramp I visited last month. Also a pic of the visible gold in three ore samples and a nice picture of Richard wearing a hard hat and a flashlight looking at some ore inside the ramp.

In the end it felt good holding a package that represented the business end of the shares I hold. I will take advantage of the web proxy to allow Richard to use my votes.

Speaking of Richard, it struck me that as we suffer he is suffering too in his own way. He has stock options last year valued at $5.18 and currently holds 1.7 million shares in the company. Those shares are worth $1.7 million dollars today. They were worth close to $10 million earlier this spring.

Ouch! It hurts for all of us $8.3 million is still $8.3 million.

I wonder what his wife says when he gets home each day :)
