Teck has issues of their own but are NOT to be counted out as they can access plenty of outside funds. They likely would only go into this as they did with Diamondfields. To make a very decent profit rather quickly, and use the proceeds to offset their real corporate plans for the next few years.

With that being said, Teck, being based and primarily focused in Canada would/do have an advantage over many of the Super Majors. The Banking MESS would be challenging for the Super Majors seeing as where thy are Headquartered. Thus, the rosseau time would be very timely indeed.

Otherwise, the Super Majors, with so much more Cash in the Bank (assuming their Banks stay sound) can make much better offers. Let's hope they (Super Majors) have foreseen the present as well as I think they have. And also hope they can move now, if need be, as opposed to next March.
