Hey cwallace I like where your head's at.
Discussing these options are prudent. It doesn't necessarily mean that we are claiming victory, rather planning for the possibility of coming out on top.
A couple observations:
I would like to think that Noront managment might lend this serious consideration in light of the overwhelming support demonstrated by us "little guys". I would also think that they would be gun shy on a go forward basis to arming our dissidents with more ammo than what they already possess. (albeit at a greater cost to raise these monies)
I suspect, if our current BOD comes out on the happy side of this vote, their strategy for minimizing institutional influence and at the same time looking out for retail interests will be that of JV'ing with a major. This strategy will also have same benifit of minimizing "the other guys" influence. Quite frankly, we likely would not be in the situation we are today had management accepted one of the previous JV buy-ins. although hindsight is perfect.
Now, let us win this thing for the benefit of thousands and not the privileged few.
Again, kudos to all that didn't take this fight lying down!
Cheers,
