Message: Why drill?

Wait and see in not a good option in my mind. A geologist with a cheap microscope and some sample prep equipment should with some experience quickly be able to develop a good feel for what was found. They can't quanitfy how much, but what minerals are there and relative frequency they should be able to determine optically.
