I have to admit that I did not see the naming of a new CEO as a huge catalyst to light a fire under our SP but you may be absolutely right...if the name is a big one. When I talked to Joe about the CEO, he said that the candidate has gone back to his board with the offer and is now waiting for their decision. They could really put some legal sticks in his way, they could wish him good luck on his new post as long as he completes or aids in the transition process or they could make him a better offer and retain him...If his name is a big one, not sure another BoD would be happy to see him go.
