Thanks Pete for presenting your case in such a professional non confrontational manner. I too respect your opinion.

Two interesting perspectives that I think are self defeating and unattainable in the long run

First... unions expect to get IMPROVEMENTS with every set of negotiations.

Second...company management are judged on increasing profits year after year. (without regard for long term profitability).

But this is our system.
