You should have seen the people on ARU's board at the time... they were so pissed off...

they even make an investor coalition... ARU's had a poison pill... etc...

some investors did videos on Youtube to show how they got steal...

at the end... the big boys bought the company and nothing happen! And ARU was a real steal... with Ecuador's governement law to reform mining... it went from 8$ to 3 something if I am right... and they were takeover for 6 or 8$... the price they were just before the mining amendment... and the management didn't even wait for the mining reform to be clarify... they sold that's it... alot of people bought it between 8 and 10$ before split... and got ripe... did that prevent the management to sell?? no...

so a 4$ takeover is even a big number for a company that has been trading under 1$ for a while...
