Message: Yesterday's luncheon

Hi everybody,

Sorry for the delay in posting my impressions from the Luncheon. I had intended to post immediately upon getting home, but the storm cut our power and it did not return until this a.m.

First off, to Wes Hanson, Joanne Jobin, etal, I would like to add my thanks to those expressed by the many excellent "Reporters" from the Luncheon, for giving us an opportunity to attend the Luncheon and Presentation. I was greatly impressed with the decisive, leadership quality of Mr. Hanson's presentation. I think our NOT is in good hands with Wes at the helm. I'm also impressed with the quick posting of the audio and slides.

They say a picture is worth 1000 words, but being there topped it all! As some posters before me have said, the silence was awesome during Wes' presentation and when he recognized Mr. Richard Nemis as the founder of this all, the applause grew extremely entusiastic. Well done Mr. Hanson.

Everything about the Luncheon has been said already by those more eloquent than me, but since this was my first opportunity to meet some of our outstanding posters here, now I can put a face to their posts and I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their hard work on behalf of the whole Agoracom Not community in sharing information unselfishly, and giving so generously of their time and energy. It is very much appreciated. Please keep posting.

After the Luncheon, I had an opportunity to meet and speak with Mr. Nemis for the first time. What a wonderful warm and friendly Gentleman our Chairman Emeritus is. I asked him about his new undertaking. He said it was coming along. Hope to hear more about it.
