Winter Roads

With the recent chatter about transportation to the McFaulds Lake area, I thought I would post this map from some previous research.

It shows a winter road from Webequie to just north of Pickle Lake. Just as interesting however is the year round road (red) at Martens Falls, just about due south from McFaulds. Another map shows that Martens Falls road as a winter road so perhaps someone with more knowledge of the north would know better. Last time I was up anywhere near that area Elvis was alive...... wait...is that him....
