I hope people don't see this as bashing - but thought I'd share anyway.
Last year I think I ran to a low of -50% on my non-RRSP portfolio. I loaded up on NOT way near the bottom. And right now I'm breaking even. Which is pretty freaking good... not pay-off-my-house-and-retire good, but I'm pretty happy regardless.
Up until recently, today in fact, I had a scary amount of money in NOT, but I'm adjusting my expectations and unloading all but a reasonable position this morning. Probably shoulda done that at $2.50 but I'm still thankful I'm not at -50%.
Anyway, still holding some, but getting my expectations in check. Thanks to all the great posters who kept me in the faith for so long.
