If three "households" get together to reduce costs, in this case it's not the single house that's saving the money; it woud be getting rid of redundant members of staff, no? Does a combined company really need three BOD's? I can see people fighting tooth and nail too keep this from happening even if it was nothing more than an effort to save their own jobs.
