With all due respect FANTOMAS, the opposition to JVs came from the dissendents as I recall. In my opinion, those dissendents never understood the basic reasons for JVing from the beginning........it is a long, and accepted/understood strategic manouver in the exploration business.....it reduces the $$ spent by the owner, maintains an interest and permits exploration to continue on a property which is considered by the owner as not top priority....it spreads the risk!!
