I don't get the system... In the last 10 minutes ,I've received more than 5 PM's saying that they have given me 5 stars, and each one has said that it didn't register anything!!

It isn't the prestige of rank that brings me to comment. I'm not being successful at making the point that Presidents (and I've had a few write me) will no longer care to oversee the posts and call out violations if they are continually attacked.

My ego is really rather small. I don't like anyone thinking that rank is so important to me. It's the orderliness and decorum of the board that is at stake here. Who will bother if it's just going to be nasty!

I'm withdrawing from this conversation here and now..
