NI 43-101 Update (September 2012): 11.1 Mt @ 1.68% Ni, 0.87% Cu, 0.89 gpt Pt and 3.09 gpt Pd and 0.18 gpt Au (Proven & Probable Reserves) / 8.9 Mt @ 1.10% Ni, 1.14% Cu, 1.16 gpt Pt and 3.49 gpt Pd and 0.30 gpt Au (Inferred Resource)
The "if" slip.
Noront has to know that they are next in line for a take-over attempt. Now Cliffs is directly smearing Noront, not just Freewest. Both Freewest and Noront need to play harball with 3rd parties entering the ROF.
Is Cliffs is playing this game to lose or just to save money? Cliffs is well aware that they are barely upping the offer, thinking retailers think like inst. A few pennies if you own 11 mil plus stock is a lot of money. But to retailers, we need a higher offer.

1) The strongest arguement to sway FWR holders is up the offer.
2) The second strongest is convince us Cliff's stock can double or triple. Has Cliffs made a projection of their future stock price? Can their stock double or triple. If not then sell Fwr.v and buy Not.v now or tender shares to Not.v. If it is projected to, then an OK arguement to go with cliffs. Can those more knowledgeable or who have more time, do an analysis on Cliffs. Will US economy tanking affect Cliffs who has global investments.

Since an economy projection seems impossible to predict, can any of their current projects or metal price lift their SP?
3) the weakest form of pursuasion is the bash Noront, which they may try to own later. We who have experienced this sort of slamming are now experienced enough to know it's tomfoolery.

It won’t happen, knowing Wes’ personality, but the concept would freak Cliffs out.

This makes me think Mac’s go-with-the-Cliff’s-offer is an act to make it seem like he’s seriously behind Cliffs –purpose get more offers. I hope he’s playing the chess game after all. Has anyone checked to see if any managers are selling?

Great job, He nailed the latest release. Which demonstrates the general feeling of those who are invested in FWR.V.

That basically sums up what Cliffs should be dreading from Retailers. Those who can influence retailers are speaking up against current Cliff’s offer. Although I’m not sure if Hoov dislikes Cliff’s .90 offer or Cliffs in general.
Can Mac simply up the offer? Let’s see how badly cliffs wants to corner the market.

My question remains, what are the institutional guys thinking. Those who work or have retired from companies representing institutional, what’s your take?
